I’ve loved almost all books Dundurn publishes, and I am honored that I have auto-approval. As such, I make a point of reading as many of their books as I can, and I’m exceptionally glad I read this one.

I admit that I often pick books based on the cover, and this one didn’t catch my attention. But as soon as I started reading it had me hooked.

The story is at the same time tragic and uplifting, sad and funny, horrendous and cute. There are quite a few heavy topics addressed in this book: abuse, cutting, foster homes and lots of angst. The author dealt with them with sensitivity without glossing over anything. it’s a gripping and heart breaking book.

Unfortunately a DNF for me.

I usually am fascinated by books dealing with different perspectives of Germany during WWII, but this one was just too slow and bogged down in details that it never really grabbed my attention.

Full on craziness and awesomeness

I have no idea where Avery Aster comes up with her ideas, but am I ever glad she does

I love the first book in the Undergrad Years: Love, Lex. And I love this one even more. There is more snarkiness, sexiness, craziness, awesomeness and a whole bunch of other -nesses.
It’s a wild and crazy ride with even more wild and crazy characters. Full of steamy hot, hot, hawt sexy scenes. Makes me want to take a vacation in Eden….or grab the next book written by Avery Aster and sink into the next adventure.

Wow, I love this book. I haven’t (yet) read the Manhattenites, but I will remedy that shortly.
Not that I’ve read the Undergrad Years #1 and 2 I want so much more.

I love the writing. It’s just like you are listening to a conversation and brings the characters to life.
The story is snarky, irreverent, hilarious and not just steamy, but full on on fire.

It’s one of those “I just can’t get enough” series, like the IT Girl and Gossip Girl books. One of my new favorites for sure.

This is the 3rd book of a series, but the 2nd I’ve read. I haven’t yet read the 2nd of the series, but that’s something I’m going to remedy in a hurry.

I thought the first book was fantastic, and this one didn’t disappoint. It’s equally as good, if not even better than the first one.

My heart pounded the whole time I was reading. There’s never ending action, fast-paced and exciting. Of course there is room for a love story to develop as well.

I love Rebecca Zanetti. She has become one of my favorite authors and I will read every book she writes. This one was fabulous and I highly recommend it.

This was a short book, but packed a punch. Lot’s of action in this suspense/romance book and lots of heat between Lexi and Dominic.

Lexi may have gone to Italy to forget and start a new life, but she never bargained for being in the middle of an international crime.

first off: I haven’t hit menopause yet and don’t have any hot flashes yet. But it’s not far off, so I was interested in reading this title.

It starts with some general information about hot flashes: what they are, how they happen and why.
There is some general discussion about treatments for hot flashes, medical and natural. And finally the approach this book recommends, which is meditative/hypnotic practice

There were some parts of the book that seemed to me to drift off topic and ramble on some.
And since I also read the ebook version I did not have access to any of the recordings.

I can’t say if the practice would work, but overall it seems likely that it would at least offer some relief.

The Secret Female Hormone: How Testosterone Replacement Can Change Your Life by Kathy C. Maupin

I was blown away by the information in this book, and I’m seriously glad I read it.

I haven’t quite hit menopause, but it’s not too far off, so one of the first things I’m going to do it get my testosterone levels tested. I’m amazed at how one simple test can cure all kinds of symptoms, that usually have to be endured or you get a handful of different meds to deal with.

This is a very important book for women to read.
