I was spellbound by this book.

Love the unique format, where the same story is told from 3 different perspectives. With each version you gain insight into that person’s reasons, thoughts and emotions.

I haven’t read “The Affair”, but this book works great as a standalone.

I had a firm idea of who’s side I would be on: the husband’s, the wife’s or the mistress’…. but it changed back and forth while reading the book. It’s amazing how the author managed to make me feel each person’s perspective.

I gained respect for Stephanie, the mistress, and more so for Kathy, the wife. Their every emotion and thought is portrayed accurately and with sensitivity: the good, the bad and the ugly.

I truly loved this book. It’s so unique and so well written.
