10 Stars, All Time Favorites, Awesome, Favourites, Must Read, New Fave, took my breath away

Rarely do I want to give a book 10 stars. This one I do.

Rarely do I place a book in my “all time faves” category on my kindle. This one I did.

Rarely do I purchase the rest of a series as soon as I’ve finished reading the first one. This one I did.

Holy wow, I’m speechless. What an amazing book. What a crazy ride into the past, falling in love for the first time. The emotional roller coaster, the flash of emotions, the confusion, the heart pounding tension.

This author did an absolutely amazing writing job. It’s truly a fantastic book that left me speechless, deeply touched and wanting more through it’s sensitivity and emotion.

Like I said when I reviewed the first book in the series, I don’t usually like steampunk. However, this series I love.

And I thought this book was a lot better than the first. I liked the first one, but there were a few things that weren’t awesome. In this one, it’s all good. Maybe it’s because I am familiar with the characters, but the book jumps right into the action and doesn’t have those parts where it just lags and drags for a while. We get good action, fast pace, original storyline, unique characters, and a really fun world.

I love this one, and am looking forward to the next installment.

This is the second book in the series, and it’s just as good as the first. Possibly even a little bit better, and I can’t wait to read the next installment.

The writing is excellent. Easy to read, conversational tone, engaging and fast paced. There are no boring or slow parts in the book, and it’s rare for me to read every single page. Usually there are always parts i skim or skip.

It’s a nicely developing romance between 2 likeable and believable characters. You kinda expect them to get together at the end, but that’s what you expect from a romance book. It was still a great story and can be read as a stand alone.
