Before reading this book I had not heard about the author, and while the book didn’t do much for me, I have gained a lot of respect for Chellie Campbell and I understand why people rave about her.
I found the majority of the book talked to women, who are interested in starting their own business. And if you fall into that category, I would rate this as must-read.
I am not interested in starting my own business, so I found some good advice in the book, but nothing overly specific to my situation. Despite that, I am interested enough to read more by this author, because I think she has very valuable input.
Not worth spending money on.
I’ve read 3 of Marc Shapiro’s “biographies”, and I’m not going to read any more. The author seems to have taken his information from google, and published interviews, but not spent any time with people who know the subject.
I knew what I was in for on page 6 “Dakota took her preparation for the role very seriously. She read all three volumes of the Fifty Shades odyssey and was quick to find the style and substance to what many high-minded critics had deemed trash”. Really? She read all 3 books? Wow….
The author seems to think very highly of Dakota, and basically wrote a long fan letter.
I literally could not put this book down. I read it in one go, even while making coffee, cooking breakfast and eating.
This is my favourite book by this author. I have read quite a few, and am amazed how different each series is. I loved this book. Haven’t read Fate Book One, but purchased it for my kindle immediately after finishing this book.
